Your first ukulele lesson is always special to us as we discuss your personal musical goals, stylistic preferences, assess your playing abilities and agree on a plan to turn your musical dreams into reality.
For complete beginners, your ukulele tuition starts with learning how to play open chords to some famous ukulele tunes and your own personal favourite songs. In conjunction with this, we teach you how to read music notation, timing, and melodies.
Our teacher will also show you how to combine the rhythm and melody to create awesome instrumental pieces on the instrument. If you like to sing your teacher can also show you how to play rhythms on the ukulele and sing along. Take it one step further and join some other students in our contemporary band program and have fun performing regularly throughout the year to appreciative audiences at great venues in Brisbane.
Private weekly lessons will introduce all of the essential skills in our proven teaching syllabus guiding you to success in your playing.
