Your first drumming lesson is always special to us as we discuss your personal musical goals, stylistic preferences, assess your playing abilities, and agree on a plan to turn your musical dreams into reality.
In your first lesson, your teacher will show you all of the components of the drum kit including bass drum, snare, tom-toms, hi-hats, crash cymbal and ride cymbal.
You will also learn how to set the kit up to suit your size and how to hold the drum sticks correctly. After only one lesson you will be playing a solid rock pattern and be ready to move on to play along with some of your favourite songs. As you progress your teacher will introduce essential drum rudiments and a huge range of drumming styles including Rock, Pop, Country, Reggae, Jazz, and many more.
Private weekly lessons will introduce all of the essential skills in our proven teaching syllabus guiding you to success in your playing.
