Who is Mark Joe
Hope?
Mark has been a professional musician for 40 years. He has a diversity of performance experience crossing many musical styles including jazz, blues & rock bands, and original bands. He has also supported many national and international touring artists such as Peter Allen, Julie Anthony, Simon Gallagher, The Platters, Doug Parkinson and Al Martino.
Private Lessons
In your private lessons your regular teacher will introduce all the essential skills in our teaching syllabus which has a proven track record appealing to all ages.
Play In A Band
We currently have 10 contemporary bands and a classical guitar ensemble with regular concerts held during the year, appealing to all ages and experience.
Fast Progress
Our teaching studios are set up with computers loaded with the latest software and a library of songs, all instrument technique studies and solos.

The voice is an instrument like any other and with the proper vocal exercises that your teacher will introduce, you will be amazed at the strength, tone and range of your new voice. One of the happiest sounding instruments, the ukulele can be played as the most simple and enjoyable accompanying instrument to singing or as a more advanced single note and chord solo instrument. Clarinet is a cool woodwind instrument with a superb tone all of it’s own. Sometimes called The Devils Instrument as it has some crazy fingerings, our experienced teachers will guide you in playing the clarinet, whether you need help with playing in the school band, want to play in a jazz ensemble or are keen to achieve some AMEB exams. Get into the swing of things by learning the basics of learning how to read music notation. Move on to some great solo pieces in all styles and learn some cool scales to improvise your own melodies. Your teacher will take you from basic tunes to playing well-known pop, classical, and jazz pieces!

Time To Get Technical
Once you have the basics down, our teachers will slowly run you through the more advanced course aspects - And you can become AMEB qualified!
Step 3
Play Along In A Band
Once you have all the musical knowledge and skills, we recommend joining in on our band sessions where you continue to grow in a live setting.

Giving Back!
Once you have all the relevant qualificatons, consider joining the team and giving back to other students.
